We all remember experiencing the joy and independence that came with getting on our bike and riding around our neighborhood.

Safe Schools of the Mohawk Valley has had the privilege of being able to provide that same experience to children throughout our area since 2006. For the past several years, we have been able to give away between 800-1100 refurbished (and sometimes, new) bicycles annually.

Our success is truly due to our dedicated and generous community. From financial support and bike donations, to fixing and give out bikes during the annual event, we know this would not be possible without our sponsors, donors, and volunteers.

Help us continue this event and consider:

  • A financial donation
  • Donating your unused or unwanted bicycle and/or parts (bikes can be dropped off at any time, at the New Hartford Shopping Center, on the back side of Thrifty Shopper. If the office is closed, please leave them by the double glass doors)
  • Volunteering at the event
